I am at a loss for words! Dr. Kardos is truly exceptional! Seeking a second opinion regarding fibroid removal, I approached her after my primary OBGYN expressed reluctance due to my decision not to have children, deeming the procedure elective. This left me feeling devastated and frustrated. However, upon meeting Dr. Kardos and presenting my scans and ultrasounds, she exhibited unwavering confidence and expertise. Without hesitation, she advised that, given the size of the fibroid (resembling that of a cantaloupe), removal was imperative. Her unequivocal support was a stark contrast to the hesitancy of my previous OBGYN. We promptly scheduled the procedure, which proceeded seamlessly. Dr. Kardos provided thorough explanations, ensuring I knew exactly what to anticipate. Her utilization of a patient portal for daily check-ins further demonstrated her commitment to comprehensive care. On the day of the procedure, Dr. Kardos and her entire team personally greeted me, ensuring my comfort and well-being. I am immensely grateful for the exceptional care I have received under her guidance. Dr. Kardos and her team have truly exceeded my expectations, leaving me feeling exceptionally cared for.

Dr. Kardos is so caring and I am so happy and grateful I found her. She performed a robotic assisted laparoscopic myomectomy and hysteroscopy and everything went well. She has a dedicated staff who is very proactive in making sure her patients are taken care of. I highly recommend her as she attempts to get to know her patients to individualize the care and treatment plan.

Dr. Kardos, is a terrific doctor. She is knowledgeable, pleasant, a wonderful diagnostician, and extremely accessible. I called with an issue, and had an appointment 15 minutes later. The office staff is also amazing, helpful, professional, friendly, and ALWAYS gets back to you and solves the problem. In today’s environment, finding a doctor like Dr. Kardos, and an efficient well run office is a unique experience. I would give them 50 stars if that were an option. Fabulous doctor and office personnel.

Dr. Kardos and her entire staff treated me with so much compassion and care. They accommodated my complex case with respect and urgency. Dr. Kardos provided detailed explanations and did an excellent job coordinating my care with another surgeon. Chloe is a fantastic office manager. Separate note, CPMC Mission Bernal Campus was phenomenal. The nursing care and anesthesiologist were second to none. I highly recommend Dr. Kardos’ office and CPMC Mission Bernal Campus. If I could give ten stars, I would!

I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy (removal of cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes) in mid-July 2022 w/ Dr. Kardos. Despite this being major abdominal surgery, I think my recovery has been quick because of how expertly Dr. Kardos conducted this surgery to be minimally invasive. I did not need painkillers of any kind after the 4th day (not even milder over-the-counter meds). I am sleeping well through the night with no perceptible discomfort or pain. Dr. Kardos was quick to respond through the GetWellLoop App and on the phone when I had a query about spotting. I am looking forward to my 2-week post-op follow-up appointment in 3 days and making a healthy and safe recovery to full strength under Dr. Kardos' care.

I am Canadian. I had been on a waitlist for a hysterectomy for over two years. My condition was worsening and with all the Covid delays in Canada I decided to pay to have it done in San Francisco. I spend alot of time here with my daughter and grand daughter. Somehow I found Dr. Kardos on a google search! Her credentials are fantastic! I feel so very lucky yo have had her help me with my problem. Apparently she is among the very best doctors that performs these robotic surgeries! She is confident. Kind. Always on time. My first appointment was in November. I booked my surgery right there and then. I felt total confidence at the first meeting. She is no nonsense but always available to answer questions and checkin post surgery. After less than two weeks I’m no longer on pain management. I’m practically back to normal! These robo surgeries cause little pain and heal quickly. I’m thrilled with results. I highly recommend Dr. Kardos. She is so talented you won’t have a single worry when you are in her hands! I thank her so much! My best google search ever!

Last month, Dr. Kardos performed a robotic supracervical hysterectomy with a bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy on me. Despite this major surgery, I never required any pain medication for my abdomen. In less than three weeks after the operation, I was hiking long distances with significant elevation gain. I have been very pleasantly surprised by the ease and speed with which I have returned to everyday activities. Thank you Dr. Kardos.

I was referred to Dr.Kardos for recurring Pneumothorax having a possible relation to endometriosis. Dr.Kardos listened carefully to my very long story and patiently answered all my questions. She researched my case, and found medical history that even I had forgotten! I really appreciated her engagement and interest in taking care of me. During a visit to her office, I came across information about Cliovana treatment. Dr.Kardos took the time to explain the treatment and make the assessment on whether this was good option for me. I am really happy with the outcome of the Cliovana treatment, and highly recommend. Dr.Kardos offers an array of treatments for Women, it is much better to have these services offered by a physician, who is not only competent, but also understands and cares about the many different aspects of our health and quality of life.
